Day 6: #MuladharaYogis is Forward Fold. . . . I love to look back on my relationship with this pose. When I began practicing yoga I was nowhere near touching my toes. It was something I oh do wanted to be able to do. So I practiced. And practiced. And practiced. And finally one day my fingers touched my toes with straight legs. I was so ecstatic!! Now I can fold with ease, and it feels so good ☺️. Opted for a rag doll variation, as it feels so darn lovely. Day 7: #MuladharaYogis is Cowface Pose! . . . This is a very dynamic pose for me. My hips are very open and I can fold very deep into this if I want. However my internal rotation in my shoulders is quite limited, so I cannot do the bind on either side and one is SO much more limited than the other (damn old rotator cuff injuries...). So even though this pose is so polar opposite from my hips to my shoulders, I accept it. I accept my tight shoulders, and I work on them. I sit. I breathe. And I am content. . . .
