The ultimate goal for all that exists is unity. Para realizar pranayamas Ya sea en posturas clásicas como #Siddhasana o postura fácil, y #Sukhasana o postura de logro o perfecta, así como la postura avanzada de meditación #Padmasana. La respiración se debe separar en tres partes. Es muy importante remarcar esta separación a practicantes  sin experiencia, sobre todo al practicar la respiración larga y profunda. Cada inhalación se debe realizar en el siguiente orden: Inicialmente se realiza una inspiración abdominal, notando como se infla el abdomen (resultado de llenar de aire la parte baja de los pulmones). A continuación centraremos la respiración en la zona pectoral o media, para finalizar llenando la zona clavicular. La expiración se debe realizar en orden inverso (clavicular, pectoral y abdominal). Se puede realizar la siguiente visualización, se inhala aire y se va llenando la caja torácica igual que si se llenara una botella, desde abajo ⬇ a arriba ⬆ y en la exhalación se expulsa igual que cuando se vacía la botella, de arriba ⬆ a abajo ⬇ En Kundalini Yoga, el Pranayama es fundamental para preparar el cuerpo y sobre todo la mente para la realización de la Kriya o secuencia de ejercicios. Abre los canales de energía o Nadis y los prepara para todo el ejercicio energético que se realiza durante la Kriya. Ayuda al practicante a estar presente en la clase y centrarse en el “aquí y el ahora”. En una clase de Kundalini Yoga es obligatoria su realización. Es aconsejable la utilización de Mantras mientras se realiza , bien sea escuchándolos únicamente, o bien intercalando o alternando la respiración con ellos. La duración habitual en una clase normal son 11 minutos, pudiéndose ampliar. Tras la realización del Pranayama, también es aconsejable dejar unos instantes para sentir los beneficios obtenidos. Una vez realizado el Pranayama pasaremos a la Kriya o secuencia de ejercicios. Aconsejable calentar antes. It’s hard to convey to folks who haven’t yet experienced Yoga (with a capital Y) or whose knowledge of it is limited the physical postures but I feel profoundly fortunate to have found it early in my life. Studying with my teachers’ teacher this weekend got me to reflecting on the past 11 years of my life, during which my understanding and relationship to the practice has evolved and shifted but more than anything remained a constant and unwavering presence. My mom likes to say “what you seek is also seeking you” and I can’t help but feel deep down inside that Tantra Yoga was seeking me from the outset. My very first teacher remains my greatest influence and mentor to this day. She showed me from the very beginning what Yoga is at its heart, a gateway to touching the Divine. By sheer coincidence (or maybe, sheer Source Intelligence) my other serious teacher and mentor is also a tantric yogini from the same #parayoga lineage. Within each of us is the potential to connect with the truth and beauty of the Source. My greatest wish to the world is that everyone may have the opportunity to experience that sense of deep peace and absolute love, and to touch the reality that we are boundless joy embodied. 🕉
